With so many models available, choosing an electric fireplace can be overwhelming. Here is our advice for choosing the best electric fireplace for your needs.

Most models come in a variety of sizes.
When putting a linear fireplace under a TV, choosing a fireplace slightly wider than the TV gives the best visual balance.
When choosing the right size electric fireplace, consider wall width, ceiling height, furniture layout, and primary viewing angles to ensure a proportionate and cohesive look.

There are many features available in fireplaces. Rather that looking for a model that has the most features, ask about the features that are important to you.
Some of the features to consider are:
Colors in flames and ember bed
Ember bed options (logs, driftwood, glass, crystals, etc.)
Smart home compatitiliy
Crackling sound effects
Heat output
Thermostat controls
Childproof control locks
Permanent heat disabling (often a requirement in commercial applications)
